Courtesy of NOW! Bali - Dining With Your Little Child in Bali

Dine with your little love
Having young kids doesn’t mean giving up on restaurants. Any parent knows that eating out with young children can be a stressful affair. A child friendly restaurant can be a beacon of light for parents who enjoy eating out with their kids. Here are some restaurants in Bali that provide fun activities to keep the young ones happily occupied while the parents can finally finish a good hot meal in peace, for God sake!

Cakes and Colouring at Biku
Situated at the famous street of Petitenget, Biku features a tea lounge built up in a traditional Indonesian wooden Joglo style. Decorated with antiques and a collection of books, the restaurant specializes in serving afternoon tea with cakes for your little ones. Not just for parents, but kids will also get a lesson in the art of sipping tea mixing with the bowl of thick whipped cream and sweet strawberry jam. The kids’ afternoon tea set is presented on a classy, miniature three-tiered plate complete with delicious cakes and scones stacked up high, pretty much like the adult version. If your kids are done playing housemate, Biku has prepared them with colouring books to keep your little ones occupied. Alternatively, board games and other huge basket of toys await the kiddos if the parents are staying in for a long period of time. A well-organised library in various genres is available for parents to enjoy good books while their kids play and have their own tea-time set-up. Such a unique combination of tea lounge, restaurant, book store and kids’ playground.
